Today we celebrate three years since Fiji Airports successfully introduced Surveillance Control — a milestone that transformed the way we manage our skies!
Through modern, performance- based surveillance technology, our Nadi Air Traffic Controllers are now able to enhance airspace safety, efficiency and environmental performance.
This advancement has been a game changer — enabling continuous climb and descent operations, direct routing, and fuel-efficient flight paths.
As a result, aircraft now burn less fuel and emit less carbon, contributing directly to our Sustainable Development Goals and Fiji Airports’ commitment to greener, smarter aviation.
